Summary: Initial data suggested that there was an increase in isobutanol resistance with GlmY alone. Further testing and statistical analysis have shown that there is no change in resistance (27.5 mM vs 31.5 mM).
The curve shows that the plasmid carrying GlmY gives a small but significant increase in the resistance to low concentrations of isobutanol even though no promoter is present
